It’s not just a name change, it’s a level up

After performing as IDT Band for 14 years, in 2023, the band finally decided they were tired of answering the question “What does IDT stand for?” (spoiler alert: it doesn’t stand for anything. It’s a long, boring story.) But why just rename when you can re-imagine? (We’re musicians, and therefore, slightly dramatic…) The band quickly embarked on a montage across the world to recruit some of their old teammates. Most of them said “No, that was another life. I’ve put all that behind me now.” However, their former boss and founder of the band, Ashley Austin (we guess that’s her wrestling name) threw down her blacksmithing hammer, kissed her family goodbye, and said COUNT ME IN. Midtown 10 was born.

    BEST BAND EVER!! I am sooo happy that we chose IDT Band as our wedding band for our Camp Lucy wedding on May 16th. They did an AMAZING job. Travis was the band manager and he was excellent about getting a feel for what we were looking for and wanting to hear. We didn’t have many suggestions because we love all types of music and that is exactly what they have to offer. The guest were dancing all night long from country, to 90s pop, to today’s hits. They band was VERY reasonably priced too which made it all the more better. I was expecting to hear or “special” songs DJ but they surprised us by actually SINGING them live. I cannot say enough good things about them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    This band is flawless! IDT Band basically made our wedding. Our guests had zero shame in telling us that while they were happy for our nuptials they were actually more thrilled about the band. There were multiple times I thought I was listening to a recording, they are that good. It was like we were at a concert. The dance floor was packed–total shock because our families do not dance. They are so professional, easy to work with and very helpful. They took our venue, personal style and favorite songs into consideration and delivered.
